Inspired by the commemorative reissue of the coined phrase, "Eat Humble Pie", which means to take responsibility and when you are wrong to act submissively, apologetically, and to admit your error.
It's great to take pride in your work and your excellence, but don't let it go to your head. Don't allow yourself to become overly arrogant. Confidence is good, but arrogance crosses the line.
So, Humble Pie means to take responsibility for your actions, aspire to greatness, be confident in yourself, but don't let it go to your head, don't get too cocky or arrogant or else somebody will put you in your place.
